Avoid this, it is barely functional let alone worth $10. The program feels unfinished and suffers in every department.
Didnt work for me
Not obvious how to use, poor libraries, spent an hour and didnt manage to build even the simpliest map. Total nonsense.
Selecting items doenst even work properly. Importing items, snap is nowhere to be seen (I mean any alignment help,) the grid doesnt show up, drawing isnt calibrated (my pen tablet wasnt drawing at all where the cursor showed) the zoom function is ridiculous, the undo doesnt work for anything, not even for what the help instructions said it would…this is crap. please update all those thing at a bare minimum…then Ill be nicer:) This is horrible, to put it nicely. Just look at the RPG MapMaker Support link. UPDATE THIS. People are very unhappy. (Yes, I know now I should have read that beforehand…I just guess I expected such a horrible app to be reviewed here as well.) Really, though. This is utter garbage. Please update this, and I will make this review much nicer. I like to think Im a reasonable guy—this app, however, is unreasonably atrocious.
As much as I want a funtional quick RPG map maker… this is down right theft. I made the mistake of thinking "how bad could it be?" You cant even draw a line without it glitching out, changing the size, and putting the line nowhere near where your mouse is. Whatever the issue, to charge money for this is simple theft. Upgraded to Mountain Lion, using a power mac.. cant find a tutorial or help… first time Ive felt completly shafted through the App store.
How bad/hard can it be? This app is complete garbage! I read a few reviews and thought awww, they just dont know what they are doing…..this App is by far the worse app I have EVER seen! It does NOTHING it says it can do and is a total waste of money!!! There has got to be a way to get my money back and Apple needs to drop this App ASAP! Useless! trash, rip off!
